Oh look, it’s the last day of the year, and time for a round-up of what’s been happening in the world of me in 2017.
It’s been a long while since I posted anything on here other than my monthly reading lists, though regular (or even occasional) visitors to this and my many former blogs won’t be all that surprised by this state of affairs. For those of you who are still keeping tabs on what I’m up to I thought I’d better stick my head up above the parapet and give a little update.
So this week I’ve tried to make more of an effort to actually get some writing done. For the most part that’s consisted of tidying up some old notes and doing some edits on the bits and pieces I’ve already got finished (ie: mainly the first two-thirds of A Pocketful Of Secrets), but I’ve also done a little more work on the Shadowman project.
I was sifting through the writing folders on my computer last night and I was a little shocked by just how many projects I’ve started over the years. Quite a few of those projects never made it past the just-an-idea phase, but there’s still a decent number that I’ve taken the time to flesh out and develop enough to consider viable for further work. A couple even have full-length first drafts attached to them, though given that in some cases these were written almost a decade ago I suspect they may need some serious work before I can safely say they’re ready for public consumption. For those who might be interested, here’s a list of those projects I’m most interested in developing further over the next few years.
